JIT Group successfully implemented the Central Switching System at People's Bank in 1999. The scope of the project was to supply and install an ATM Switch capable of linking the People's Bank branches Islandwide.
The electronic switching application software deployed was COSES from SchlumbergerSema (Atos Origin) running on a HP Himalaya NonStop system
The Local Area Netwrok was implemented using structured cabling from Systimax (Avaya) and the Hubs and Routes for branch connectivity were from Nortel Networks.
Phase II saw JIT awarded the implementation of the Peoples Bank online Disaster Recovery Centre in the outskirts of Colombo

This is a landmark project for Sri Lanka, forever changing the landscape of broadcast media, and bringing interactive personalized television to the people using UTStarcom's Rolling Stream® Platform.

JIT joined hands with SLT in providing a Wide Area Network (WAN) connecting 121 branches to NSB Head Office via 128 Kbps & 64 Kbps VPN links with VOIP, whilst the SLT to Head Office connection is via two 10 Mbps lines with load sharing, via a IP VPN back bone. The branches are using a Nortel Passport Series Router to connect to the main Nortel Core Router based at the NSB Head Office, which is connected to Call Servers for VOIP traffic. All Head Office WAN Network Elements have built-in Redundancy, and the whole Network is also replicated in a DRC site

The network connects up 5 geographical locations with Juniper M320 High-end MPLS Routers which connects up to existing MPLS core network.

JIT Developed and implemented an Enterprise portal system that enables SLT to have a better rapport in terms of connectivity services. Both SLT administrators and SLT customers can now login to the portal and activate/amend any services such as BoD, Firewall and QoS. The solution was delivered with the back-end technology of Juniper SDX system and Routers. The portal is linked to the SLT payment gateway enabling customers to change and perform needed payments, while also providing Post-Paid and Pre-Paid payment options. This is a benchmark project, not only for JIT but also for Sri Lanka, due to the dynamic capabilities of the Portal-SDX system.
